Life is good.. BCM was great last night. Jeff Mitchell is an awesome speaker. Very useful topic too about why there is evil and suffering in the world. It was cool too because this guy was there from Panama City who is transferring from Gulf Coast and he remembered me from lake yale but the coolest part is that his cousin and my cousin are the in band together. So he knows my family from panama city and all. The ice cream was good last night too but I really think that I am lactose intolerant. Dang I'm rusty on my pool playing too. Gotta start practicing more. I just wasnt focused last night because I was so hyper as well. So I kind of decided against canoeing on saturday but im just not sure because i thought about boating but i may cancel on that b/c i have to spend a decent bit of driving time then cant stay too long because I have to get back for the football game so I just dont know what my saturday plans are. All I know is Sunday is church and my roomates and I must go grocery shopping.
I'm excited about my plans for tonight.
OK-twice yesterday I got complimented on my honesty. the two people who made the comments referred to two totally different situations. Is our society today just not honest? I just think its sad that these two friends of mine found it so unusual that someone speak the truth and what they are really feeling. But it was nice to hear that they appreciated it. I just wish more people who speak up more often.
Scriptures of the week::: "Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men. At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, decieved and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasure. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. But when the KINDNESS and LOVE of God appeared, he SAVED us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his MERCY. He saved us through the washing of rebirth, and renewal by the Holy Spirit, who he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life."
